If Kunos Simulazioni has not 'snatched up' Peter Boese and llja Jusupov on their payroll for development relating to any future sim releases, then they have missed a massive opportunity.
These two men reside amongst a group of 'insanely' talented modders. It is almost too difficult to comprehend the level of genius.
Having just installed SOL2.2.7 along with PURE 1.5.5 and taken the KS GT3 to Monza for testing in extreme rain, I can say it is one of the most 'mental' adventures in a car in simracing.
IIja, with his rain in CSP 1.80 Preview 115 and Peter with his lighting, sky domes, etc... within PURE 155 and SOL 2.2.7 have transformed AC into another World.
There is no more of this pushing to the max without consequences on wet track.
Touch those puddles on the side of the track and you will pay massively, as you watch the engine deck-lid facing your direction of intended travel.
Get on those brakes too aggressively and you'll have your hands full as you struggle to regain balance of that mass.
Touch the paint at the edge of that wet track and pucker up as the car loses traction and you fight to keep it on the Black stuff.
These guys...along with many, many others here at RD, have transformed Assetto Corsa to levels KS probably never thought possible.
Speaking of brilliant modders.... Where is Fat-Alfie?
I haven't seen any postings in a while.
