DashmeterPro

Yes, using AC/PC version. Remember to run the prefences.ini file to verify connection the the android device and set the interface in AMS2 to PCars2.
G’day mate.... I’ve tried this, and every variation of the settings. I’ve used DashmeterPro in AMS for some time and understand the settings in preference etc.... I can’t get it to work in AMS2 though. On testing, it confirms it’s passing info through to my tablet, it just not receiving it from the game. Did you just drop your files into the main folder for AMS2 in steam, or into a different one?

Hi ; I am French I am sorry for my English. I just wanted help getting my dashmeterpro to work with AMS2. I did everything you said well. dashmeterpro is well in communication with AMS2 activates the shared memory in pcars2, UDP 8, UDP PV pcars2 but it still does not work. Could I have forgotten something? Thank you

Maybe you forgot to open Dashmeterpro? It should be running in the background.

It does work as I have it working same as I do in PC2. You have to have it setup in the telemetry options in AMS2.
Cheers mate - I may be just unlucky then. If you mean by telementary - 'Shared Memory', I've enabled AMS2. The Dashmeter files were dropped into the main installation folder. The com's from the PC to the app is working, and the correct ports (2302) are selected in tablet and PC. I've even tried changing the buffer size in preferences - not that this should make any difference as the app works in AMS and RFactor 2. Still no luck:( though.

Here's my settings:

Dashmeterpro pref:
IP 192.168.1.75
Android port 2302
Ext Buffer Size = false

AMS 2 Options - System :
Shared Memory = no
UDP frequency = 4
UDP protocol version = project cars 2

If you have dash running on tablet then launch DashmeterPro app do you get communication ok appear on your dash on tablet?

First of all thank you all for your answers. Dashmeterpro works very well with rfactor2 since 3 years that I use it. I have tried all of your suggestions but at the moment its does not work However I have the connection between AMS2 and dashmeterpro ; dashmeterCom. Comucation OK !!

If you have dash running on tablet then launch DashmeterPro app do you get communication ok appear on your dash on tablet? yes

At first just like you guys, I can't make it to work even if there is communication between AMS2 and android device. My mistake was not keeping it running in background on pc. It's not like in rf2 or AMS1 that you can close the program on pc while playing the game.

You have to launch Dashmeterpro on pc and keep it running while playing AMS2.

Cheers mate - I'll give it another go tonight after work.

Thanks for the effort mate - but no luck. I have the same AMS 2 options as you - obviously my IP is different. The app on my tablet says com's is OK, and I leave the app running in the background of the pc - is says sending data to android......it just never gets there though.
