Delete profile and start over?

Hi all

OK, having recently bought a new wheel and pedal set, as well as getting much more used to sim driving after a long lay off, I'm wondering if it's possible to delete my profile and start from scratch? Mainly to try and improve my ratings as these have been badly affected by my poor driving early on!

Many thanks.

Don't think it is possible since it is most likely tied to your Steam profile.

Regarding the rating I think I've read there is some fadeout built in so when the rating page gets full of sessions the oldest will disappear and not count anymore, not 100% sure regarding this though.

In my experience it is quite simple to up the ratings in just a couple of sessions with some focus. CC and CN change quite fast so a couple of good sessions will up them in no time. Regarding SA it's quite easy to farm with some focus and prioritising clean racing over gaining position in races. The by far easiest way to farm SA is to run single player with appropriate AI difficulty and just stalk a car for a race. Just keep in mind that SA is only improved when racing in close proximity to other cars; driving a completely clean race with no opponent in sight will not increase SA at all.

this has been changed a little: if the race is longish (1h+) and you finish you get one SA point just for the finish even if you led all the way through. However, racing the AI closely will get you far more points. I go to Spa, put 49 AI on grid, start in 40 with Ai set so I run a time fit for pos. 8-12 and then pass them one by one by one over the next 60 mins. Very enjoyable way to farm ;)

True, I forgot about the bonus trust points awarded for completing a race. Yeah, when I do quick races in single player I race in the exact same style, agree that it is very enjoyable indeed. :)

I run an AI race and stalk other cars by pulling alongside to get yellow and especially red warning indicators on HUD. I think when you get these lit you are really accumulating more SA than just following close behind. At the end of the straight I will slow back down and pull in behind until the next chance. Once I'm bored or see a car ahead I will overtake and do the same to the next car.

I do tracks like Silverstone and Monza for this as they have long straights where you can pull alongside a lot.

The trick is to not bang any other cars and finishing is extra bonus to SA I think.

I think it's true about the 'fade out' over time as your SA is like an average of your past races. I wonder if it's better to do a lot of short races rather than less longer races. The stats seem to show a new column for every race. In theory, you could generate four or five columns for every hour as opposed to one column for an hour race.
