Does the ai aggression slider works?

I don't think the ai aggression slider is working for me. I don't know of this is an issue for me or if this is just how the ai is. I used to race at 10 Percent aggression and now at 95 and I haven't really seen any difference in their behaviour. They are still hesitant to overtake me, the other cars and lap cars. Can anyone help?

Ohh wow thank you. I didn't know that as I never noticed it before. At any rate, ai needs improvement but I don't think Kunos will be doing anything for the single player aspect any time soon (at least that is my understanding from reading the forums) which kinda sucks

Okay I have been doing some testing and I think the ai aggression slider works only for ai vs player and not ai vs ai. I don't know if this is how it was supposed to be?

Ive restarted a race at Brands numerous times for many reasons but there is always one car much much faster than me and any other.
My car and one of the Ferraris are nearly a second faster than everyone else, i average 1.24.5 if i let this ferrari pass me he flies down the road, after 6 or 7 laps he is around 8-10 seconds ahead of me, a couple of times we have had a coming together with an off track excursion and carried on from the back of the pack, i can pass the slower cars regaining postitions with ease, this Ferrari will sit behind cars that are 2\3\4 seconds a lap slower than him for lap after lap without making any attempt to pass, i can get back to top three, the Ferrari will be lucky if it regains 3 places over a 40 min race.

Yeah I think it might be a big cause now after increasing aggression I have noticed they race me harder but they still don't race each other harder. I really wish someone would ask the developers if this is a bug or just how it was supposed to be cause aggression slider does nothing for ai vs ai and I feel it should

Well I had posted there some time ago but nothing really came of it and I think there is even a thread on it but it ended in some pointless arguing
