after trying the 0.1.7.8-preview my game is crashing all the time when i try to start it. tried every version of cm and csp incl. every possible combination but it behaves the same all the time. i then got some help and figured out that it is due to the csp extension itself. every other extension is fine. i even tried all settings to narrow it down further but no luck there. getting this error: Audio error (AudioEngine.cpp:331): AudioEngine.cpp. any idea whats going on here?`reinstalling everything seems not to work either

Sorry, but no. Errors with the Audioengine can be caused by literally everything. You should check your crash logs if there is a clue to find. Those files named "crashXXX.result" are zips, so just rename them to .zip to open them.
Did you even reinstall AC? If yes, did you delete/rename the folder "AssettoCorsa" in documents manually? This one wont get removed if you uninstall the game.

tried reinstalling and rename the parent folder but still no change

yeah tried everything...but as soon as i activate the csp extension my game is crashing all the time. i found that if i disable pp effects its working but cant get sol to work even i have the paid version of cm and csp. downgrading csp has no effect at all

i even tried in cm under settings/csp under extensions in general patch settings every tickbox on and off. still no change. but "disable" the general patch settings and its working. i really dont understand what is going on here. it was working before...but dont know whats the issue...cm update or csp update. have paid versions of both. i know somewhere between cm and csp update somehow somewhat is going on...the strange thing is even after deinstalling everything and clearing out registry and deleting and redownloading everything it still crashes now.
yeah i can disable it but i dont get what i paid for and without any of the csp features. its f-ing annoying its unfortunately the only game i can play at the moment and stock is no fun at all!

Upload this log file somewhere which is named in your picture.
And you shouldnt click on feature if you dont know what they are doing. By disabeling General Patch Settings you disable CSP entirely, so the issue can be caused by any other FX. Did you reset CSP to default?

sry man im just frustrated at the moment because it was alle working before and now it doesnt anymore no matter what i try. yeah i reset all settings do default but the problem is still the same.
wrong files! there is a xxx.report in your screenshot. this one is needed
found out now that the crash is related to particle fx. disabling it fixes it but cant narrow it down any further...tried every option at once but no further clue. but its particle related. cant uplload the main file.

Disable DXGI and try again. ParticlesFX shouldnt cause this.
But you can always reset CSP to default by deleting all Ini in "Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\extension". They will be recreated with vanilla CSP settings.
Edit: I couldnt find an entry in your logs, but you didnt enable the "New DDS loader", did you?

But honestly, I'm running out of ideas here. I guess you've already reset your CSP to default by deleting the files, like I've written before.
One last chance here tmk, uninstall CSP completely by using the button "Delete Patch" in settings -> csp -> about&updates.
After you've done that you have two options:
1. Install CSP1.78p1 again by drag and drop to CM and test afterwards.
2. Install CSP1.60 first and upgrade/update (!) afterwards to 1.78p1 as before and test again.
But remember dont load any saved presets! Test with the default settings of CSP only!
If none of those options will work I can only recommend you to join the discord of CSP and ask there. I'm there too, but also many other guys who might have more ideas or even a solution.
