For Ryzen ZEN2 users

Did the diagnostic run ( 3900X ) and got to 17th step before it quit and said 4350@1.25v

Then I looked at pictures and saw they got 4550@1.325v with a 3900XT and better M/B but 3200C14 where I have 3600C14 ( stock)

So I set 4450@1.325 and got 8033 in bench only 100 slower so not bad I guess
before last chipset update it would not do better then 4350@1.3v and scored 7900
and I had tried 1.35v

Won't run full test as I don't see the point
I underclock and under volt already 4200@1.2v with RTX2080 @1440p ( gsync monitor ) heaps enough fps in all sims

Hallo Durge.

For anyone wanting to give this tool a go please bear in mind this is very much a beta at the moment, there are issues but the community is on it, currently up to beta v3.

Here is the development thread at OCN.

For successful users the deal seems to be slightly lower single thread, greater multi thread with improved thermals/voltages. It will certainly be a useful tool for heavy workloads. Will be interesting to see if the lower single thread hurts sims/gaming. I like the sound of lower temps and less power.

Manual overclocks can yield better results, This tool just removes some of that work/confusion and offers a starting point for further tweaking.

Will definitely give it a spin when the bugs have been ironed out!

Not as interesting as you might think, because the answer is a simple "yes, it does". (I was in fact just going to ask why would someone want lower single thread performance and higher multithread performance. Outside of some very specific loads/usage scenarios, by doing that, you'll lose performance where it matters, so...)

Because while some see a large drop in single thread, others don't. It's silicon dependant.

Now if i can see little to no difference when gaming while saving a bunch of power, that's a win. On the other hand i might have turd grade silicon...will be interesting to see.

It certainly helps to save 5W of power by using some obscure tweak when running a 600W PC setup ;)

(But I mean, if you think it does, more power to you. No pun intended.)

Mate, every conversation we've ever had started with you picking holes in something I said. Really tedious mate. If i choose to throw my pc out of the window what the heck has it got to do with you? My money, my choice. And as long as i'm not encouraging you to do the the same, you've really got no reason to be concerned about what some random bloke on the internet does with his machine.

Or maybe you've got nothing better to with your day...

I get the same, I had audacity to under volt the 3900X and not tweak best memory
In the meantime running rF2 Nords with 36 F3 Eve
2560 Gsync 144/165 @ 2XAA 16xAF with everything else wound up
rF2 says max: 141 average: 140 get same results at Italy, Belgium, Portland
I set max to 141 in inspector

P.S.
Try Nords with 1 each of all the GT-proto DLC and for good measure throw in the URD Ford and RSS IMSA Proto ( 24 models) + PP

" We'll tear your soul apart " :x3:

You do whatever you want. I'll do the same, thanks. But if you don't like people commenting on what you post on a public forum, maybe consider not posting.

Mate.
