Games freezing/crashing.

Hi guys, really hoping for some help although I am not that competent with the PC.

My system:
Gigabyte GTX1060 6GB - installed today
AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight core processor 3.50 GHz
Windows 8.1 64 bit
Corsair 450W

I ordered the 1060 due to the GTX960 not giving 60fps at high settings on 1080p although PC never gave any issues. Recently over clocked the card by 100 MHz on both core & memory clock with fan set to 85%. Seemed better but restored card back to standard after an hour... just to be safe in my mind. Uninstalled both MSI afterburner & GPU-z programmes too. From here the freezing/crashing started on AC, DR, P Cars & RRE. Did a complete system restore & left PC until new card arrived today. Annoyed in the fact that this card is not performing as per reviews for great visuals & 60fps plus my games are still crashing.

You should reinstall Afterburner and keep track of temperatures and clock speeds while gaming. Your PSU can also be on the short side.
