Grey car fix

Hey everybody, having a problem still with this issue, I have installed the patch and have done a clean install. I can see the cars and can pick them but there are no skins. Is there something else to do or am I doing something wrong. Thanks in advance,,

Since 14.4.0 HQ Anniversary patch will not install nocd directly, you need to run GTR2_SETUP.BAT and follow pages, at page III you will choose which nocd you want because there are 2 versions :
- nocd 1 if you want to use XD-MAPPLUGIN and want to see pictures in menu
- nocd 2 if you want CrewChief (engineer talks to you during race) or native VR
You can't have both advantages, you must choose either 1 or 2 then options in setup will be different.

By the way, after installing 14.4.0, you need to apply hotfix 14.4.2 available in hq anniversary patch thread

Thanks for responding, I hear you're the man when it comes to this game.LOL, I forgot to mention that I have also installed the hotfix. So if I run the setup bat that should take care of this. Does it matter which type I choose.

both nocd will restore colors to all cars if this is your question

Actually, as said, it depends on what plugins you want to use : honestly after testing CrewChief you will ask yourself how you played before without it

yes you can re-run setup and change options as you like but when you change a nocd at page III you also need to change defviews.cam file at page IV because the clipplanes values to eliminate textures flickering are different in nocd1/2, and in PLR PLAYER profile too.
