GT4 pack is -35% on Steam

As someone who's primary interest is online racing, not racing or hotlapping offline on my own, is the GT4 pack worth it? ACC is not my primary sim so I don't follow it's community much, but I have noticed people saying there are barely any GT4 servers, and the ones that do appear stay empty.

With limited disposable income and so much else on sale right now, I don't want to end up buying something I'll never end up using. Cheers.

Base game includes sth like 20 cars + 11 tracks = 16$

GT4 DLC includes 11 cars = 13$

2020 GT DLC 2 cars + 1 track + tire update= 9$

DLC content are getting more expensive on each new release

Honestly, I don't understand your point.
ACC is 2 years old now. 505/Kunos want to have people engaged/onboarded in/to ACC => Very good discount.
The GT4 pack is newer. I expect DLC to be always be costlier compared to the base game if you go strictly by cars/tracks for €/$. If people have bought ACC, the chance they buy DLC is significant. Why would you give it away for a very low price then?

What I don't get at all: Where do you see DLCs get "more expensive on each new release"?
Comparing starting prices of new DLC with discounted old game / DLC prices is comparing apples with oranges.

I haven't felt that pricing from Kunos was ever bad. In fact I consider it very very affordable.
For comparison reasons: I bought Baldur's Gate 3 in EA for full price of 60€.
Developers said there will be no discount before the release of the game. They need the funds.
ACC in EA was discounted to 25€.

Getting expensive considering price per item.

The GT4 DLC was 20$ for
11 cars since release day (scratch built)
= 1,8$ per item

2020 World DLC is 9$ for
1 imported track (count as 2 cars) + 2 revised car = 4 items
(I don't consider new driver name or new tire as item)
= 2,25$ per item

Ah, the good old "manipulate statistics to suit your agenda" game. Player 2 has entered the chat.

Supply vs. demand:

July average daily peak: 3 316
Last 30 days: 4 126

GT4 Pack - released 15 July: $0.00054 per player per day
2020 DLC - released 18 December: $0.00054 per player per day.

Looks like they nailed it.

another empty message from who doesn't know the name of the month we are in

do you always write meaningless messages?

As someone who likes to do my racing on the cheap, (witness my "rig" in the recent poll), I've never understood why almost in every dlc thread people complain about the price. Despite being happy to lay out money on peripherals there seems to be a reluctance to view the software, that actually allows us to play our games, in the same way. I would expect to pay premium for something new and since if I don't want it I don't have to buy it, although I'm still getting a discount if I buy it in a sale.

Very good points made @Kenny Paton.
And nobody is forcing users to buy the DLCs anyway....if it's too expensive, just don't buy it.

Kunos even allows people without the GT4 DLC to take part in mixed class races.

@Eng. I tried, but it seems I didn't come through...

If people don't share their views, what is the point of using a forum?

I couldn't understand your point as well. If you are happy about price you can buy. I don't like their pricing and I am sharing with arguments.

Where do you get the right to saying people not to complain about sth you don't care?

this po
I never said you don't have the right, what I said was I didn't understand it. This is an occurring theme in most dlc threads normally distracting by adding irrelevant posts for people who want information who often find themselves wading through post after post.

This thread is only for dlc price. What were you expecting to find inside this topic?

In my opinion, your message suits better for your "irrelevant post explanation" in this thread. You don't share anything related to pricing except complaining and advicing not to write and buy to whom don't like the price
