Help needed - noob to AC on PC

So first off sorry for the questions but when it comes to PC Sim Racing I am new to it.

I am finding myself with two problems that are affecting me right now.

First one is when it comes to downloading mods for AC. Now some I have managed to download and use but other, namely the VRC Formula NA 1999 and Goodwood Hillclimb mods, don't seem to install onto AC correctly in any way. I put the car/track into the car/track folder but it doesn't show up. Any advise?

Also second one would be on some mods the FBB goes mental, not on all mods just some. Is it just a case of changing the settings for those mods when I want to use them or again is there a workaround.

Please move this if this is not the correct place, totally new to here and PC sim racing as mentioned, console pleb here lol

different modders = different install methods

always open the download-archive, and see if there is a "content" folder
if so, you need to extract it to "assettocorsa\" folder in steam library

if there is only - lets say - "subaru_wrc" folder (or "la_canyons")
then you put it directly in "assettocorsa\content\cars" (or "assettocorsa\content\tracks")

i recommend using ContentManager (acstuff . ru / app - remove spaces!)
you can dragNdrop the download-archive into ContentManager-window, you dont need to care for this stuff then
