Hot-key/Input to save Onboard perspective settings

Last night I threw together a dingy little game controller box w/ an Arduino (Leonardo) to control the onboard driver view position settings in Assetto Corsa. Forward, back, left, right, up, down. All that jazz. Going to mount it beside the seat. It works just fine, but I have a small snag in the way of saving the settings without reconfiguring every race.

Question: Can anybody think of or provide a method to save the seat position with a controller input in the way one can with "Save" button on the on-screen Onboard Settings? I assume it overwrites the .ini file. Just want to hit one of the buttons to save.

Extra question: Any suggestions for the extra buttons/switches? Added them to use the full space. Right now it's just headlights, hazards, and wipers. But it wasn't intended to be a "within immediate reach" kind of box and I'll probably craft another for those functions.

python thats the answrer, you need to create a python script that imports the input library and once it captures certain key input trigger the action to save such settigns
