How to config car-specific steering wheel weight

Is there a way to adjust the steering wheel weight for a specific car? One of the car mods I downloaded (Evo 5 for SRP) seems to have excessively heavy steering compared to most other cars, is there an easy way to edit/fix this?

If you are referring to the FFB strength, then you can use the FFB app whilst in the car to reduce it and it will only affect that vehicle

For the FFB strength .... numpad keys + and - are the easy ones to use on track

Thanks - so if I understand this right, if I adjust the FFB strength whilst in the car using the FFB app, and save it, then the FFB for that car will be adjusted and saved permanently (for that specific car, on any track)?

If I remember correctly, yes, it sets it for the car on any track. I think the files are stored under Documents so another user can have different settings per car

I forgot all about this - I don't have a numpad so I never made use of it, but I might check to see if those keys can be remapped in CM to my wheel

Surely possible with JoytoKey if it didn't work with CM ... in my own case, those are easilier placed on my StreamDeck used as button box.

@Gerald81 those FFB settings changes on track are automatically saved.

Late reply but for anyone else who might see this. You can edit the car.ini in the data folder. Change the value for FFMULT. Lower is easier and higher is harder.
