I don't see any any sunrays since I installed SOL...

Before and after pic. I liked feeling the sun in the straight section in spa.. but this effect disappeared.

First pic was before installing SOL, pic after. First pic is with "Natural Graphics Mod" settings, and custom shaders with defautl lightning settings (300% brightness etc) and clear setting.

Below is the same but with SOL installed and Sol Clear for weather. I double checked sunrays to be enabled. I dont understand.

The sun doesn't look like it's in the same place, Sol has accurate sun positioning and base AC doesn't so it's possible the sun just never winds up there at actual spa. Or you need to pick a different month.

Its the same hour, around 13:45

Where do I pick different month?

Also, I dont see sunrays anywhere, in any track anymore. It makes no sense that you look around at 13:45 and there's no sun irrespective of the month tbh

If you have the Sol Weather App installed you will be able to change the month and time of day ingame rather than just setting it in CM before the session

Im using mouse to play because my wheel is broken and im waiting for repair, how do I open the widget menu? it doesnt work in mouse mode. Do I really have to go to keyboard mode, then change it then go to mouse steering again? this is annoying. I also don't understand why you can't change settings like video, audio, keywoard mapping etc when you open a race.

To my untrained eye, and with limited evidence to be seen, the sun position looks pretty similar in the two pics.
However, I really hate that effect anyway so I'd not be losing any sleep over it ;)

Did you reset SOL_Config to default. There is ppfilter__godrays_singlescreen param that should be set to true.

where is this located?

there is no rays even if i use the default ppffilter
Sol_Config in game app. Go to last page, click reset to default. Then I believe on second page should be that param. Default must be true, VR users usually set it to false as God rays are broken in VR.
If PP filter comes with .lua, check that the value is not hardcoded there as that will take precedence over settings in SOL_Config.
SOL_Config stores values in assettocorsa\apps\python\sol_config\sol_config.ini
you can edit it manually if you know param names.
Most of this info is in Peter's SOL Manual.

Also, non SOL PP Filters use this param, at least God Rays were on with Natural until I unchecked it.

The Natural filter has Sunrays enabled on the checkbox. It just has ****ed up my install after I installed Sol.

I this this is just how the mod works..? i was too used to way harsher sunrays. That's a 8 in the morning in the summer pic. You can see some sunrays but not much. At around 11 the sun becomes too vertical and i see no sunrays anywhere anymore.
