if i want to download a moded car i only download a file and not a folder.. please help

you usually download an archive i.e. zip or rar, that you first need to extract the folder from. Can you share the link you used?
I'm new to this a few months now. It can be tricky I had some problems first but I have figured it out now even if its not accurate, my stuff works, mostly. Are you registered to the mod websites and added them to CM ? visit them through the Cm browser.. and be logged in to the website. I was focusing on the INSTALL tab in the browser bar before but I never use it.. it wasnt doing anything or I dont know how yet. Seems I dont need it. I click DOWNLOAD at the top of the page and I see it coming in CM top right menu with the green notification.. usually it shows an INSTALL text tab.. that often installs it fine then we enable them in CM other menus. Sometimes it says 'no install file found' .. what I have to do then is click the SHOW FILES tab.. it will open the temp folder and the zip is there.. [are you getting .zips?] I cut that to my desktop.. then extract it there.. then manually cut and paste the folders where they are supposed to go and delete the zip.. or save those too. Sometimes a track I try to put in wont work at all and I give up and delete it. Im not sure if any of that is useful but all the best
