Is my hardware enough to run ACC?

Hi guys, as the object says i just want an expert opinion

My hardware is not trash but is not the last sensation on earth, i took a look on the minimum and suggested and my pc is something in a middle and so built:
I5 3570k processor
16 gb ram
Gpu is a Radeon r9 290 tri-x
Asus morherboard doesn'allows overclock
All running on a Crucial mx500 ssd

Now the question, can ACC run smooth with an hardware like mine?

I heard a lot people telling that sim needs a very good hardware , is this so true?

And a last thing which i have to ask, i never fwlt in love with the original Assetto Corsa, don't like many cars physics, don't like the feedback , don't like the silly multiplayer etc etc

Is ACC something completely different or if i didn't like the original one is useless to waste money in this other?

Thank in advance

I have the i5 3570 with 8GB RAM and a Rx580 8GB.
The CPU is a bottleneck and the limiting factor. I can play ACC with ~medium settings in FullHD but at some circuits I get notable frame drops (below 40 and even below 30) Monza for example is one of them.

Get it on Steam, test it for 1 hour and give it back if you don't like it or can't run it.
