Is upgrade from CSL elite lc pedals to Clubsport V3 pedals worth it?

I have been reading the internet and this is what I think at the moment.

V3:s will give you better clutch and throttle pedal but the stock brake pedal is worse than CSL loadcell brake. I would really like better clutch and throttle but brake pedal is important also.

Using brake performance kit makes the brake better or same level with the CSL loadcell brake. But at the same time u lose all the adjustabilty. With brake performance kit you have stiff brake no way to make it lighter. With CSL loadcell brake I can easily change the brake from stiiff to light. I dont like the fact that you have to assemble the BPK and that you are stuck with one stiffness. And I have couple posts in the internet that say V3s brakes preload screw moves during driving so you end up with different brake stiffnes during race.

Is V3s stock brake pedal worse than CSL loadcell brake? Does the damper help?

Do you have problems with V3 brake preload screw moving during driving?

Is upgrade from CSL elite lc pedals to Clubsport V3 pedals worth it?

Never had CSL elite pedals so can't comment on that but my v3 preload screw dosen't move while driving,it's very stiff to turn when adjusting the brake so would be very suprised if it moves while driving.

I’ve never owned the CSL pedals but I love my V3

Like panda above I’ve never had the screw move and can’t imagine it ever moving as it’s so stiff to rotate. Mine is so stiff you gotta think about how you position your hand to get the leverage to move it!

Good to hear that some of you dont have problems with preload screw. One guy in youtube had problems with preload screw moving, but after he installed brake performance kit the preload screw did not move anymore.

I have been thinking to get the brake performance kit if I buy the v3s. Because there is people saying that the stock brake feel with v3s is not that good. I think the v3s would be some kind of upgrade from CSL LC pedals. I have been also thinking the HE sprint pedals. HE pedals will be lot more than the v3s but I think it might be the last pedal upgrade I need. But they are lot more expensive.

Im not hardcore sim racer I average maybe 10 hours a week or little more. But if the V3s make sim racing little more fun they are worth it. If the the sprint pedals make sim racing even more fun and end the upgrading need they might also be worth it. Part of me thinks get v3s and have some money for other things. Part of me thinks wait and get the HE sprint pedals and end the upgrading need.

What do you guys think?
What is the difference between CSL LC pedals and V3s?
What is the difference between V3s and HE pro pedals (or the upcoming sprint pedals?)

Just get the he sprints when they come out. If you get v3s you will still have that nagging thought in the back of your head "I wonder how much better the sprints are" then you will sell the v3s and get the sprints anyway.
I have the CSL elites and for the money they are very good but my next upgrade will be he sprints then that will be it for upgrading probably.

Hi Lutis, I've spoken to our support manager, and he has never heard of the V3 brake preload screw moving during the course of a race. I can only imagine that it could happen if the screw itself had become excessively lubricated.

I have the CSL LC pedals, not used the v3's but just on cost alone is it worth it? You can add vibration and even invert the Elite's if you want to. Sorry Fanatec, not trying to diddle you out of a sale.
