Issue with shadows in VR

Hi all,

I hope someone can help finding out what's causing this issue. refer to video below, it's not my video but I have the exact same issue that I didn't have before, not sure how it started. See the shadows on the track and how they behave when moving the head.

Thanks!

I noticed something similar on Nordschleife at the weekend - it seems to have gone away now, although I have changed a few CSP settings in the meantime - perhaps post your software and hardware specs so it can be narrowed down a bit...

Thanks for your answer, Nordschleife is where I first noticed it, it was pretty bad, but it happens in other tracks like Highlands as well. I have now uninstalled and installed the game again with no SOL, CSD not even using content manager and it's less noticeable but it's still there, like on the pit walls of Highlands track.

My hardware would be:

Ryzen 5 5600x
Radeon RX 6600 XT
16GB RAM
Windows 10
Oculus Quest 2

I use Oculus Rift rendering mode in AC.

Thanks again.

Yep I'm also on an AMD GPU with a Quest 2, although I'm using OpenVR mode - I'll check the settings I changed as haven't noticed it lately, 'Smart Shadows' in CSP may have been one I switched off...

I tried re-installing windows and Assetto Corsa....and even though playing AC without SOL, CSP or anything else the effect is less noticeable, it's still there....oh well. maybe it'll go away by itself again

Thanks.

After being annoyed with this for YEARS I finally found the solution! Turn Custom shadow matricies OFF
