sorry @Bram Hengeveld but I'm pulling out of this series. I am not enjoying the cars, the GTEs are just too bouncy and difficult to control especially on these tight twisty tracks and I'm struggling not to get motion sickness from the constant sideways movement. tbh I'm not finding AMS2 to be a good experience at the moment, maybe it is just too real a simulator for me. Maybe this is why I tend to prefer the historic layout of tracks such as Ostereichring Kyalami and Silverstone and the yet unreleased Spa for example, as it is a completely different kind of challenge and what I really enjoy about racing.

Thanks, I appreciate you're trying to help, but I don't have those effects turned on and no, open wheeled cars are more likely as there is no fixed frame of reference around the monitor edge like there is with a windshield. I think it is simply my eyes saying I am moving quickly left or right and my inner ear saying "no I'm not".

That sucks Neal, I'd love for you to stay and drive with us but if it feels awful then there's no point :(

Maybe we ought to get you some sort of VR headset ;)
Actually I do have the Reverb G1 headset but it is not set up atm. Due to the shape of my nose there is a constant pressure on the bridge part due to the poor design of the headset which means I can't wear it for too long before it gets really painful. Shame because it is delightful in operation and the clarity is fabulous. I've considered trying to mod it, i.e. grind away the bit that fouls against my nose, it only needs 1mm or so removing. I'll get around to it hopefully soon as I've really enjoyed racing at RD since I joined.

Ah that's annoying. I hope you stick around because it's been fun racing with you Neal! Any specific car that could keep you racing with us? Perhaps as one last hail mary to see if it works?

did a little bit of testing and the P2 is as good as ever for me at least at Donnington. The F309 is a bit tail happy now and I'm not getting any feedback it just snaps, also at Donni approaching Coppice. Also gave the GT1 McLaren a run around historic Silverstone and that is a blast too, also as good as I remember it. This is part of my problem, I tend to favour the historic version so much more than modern tracks and funnily it tends to be also where I do my best performances.:whistling:
