Logitech Gear Users: Do You Use Logitech's Software?

To those who use Logitech Wheels and Pedals (especially) with Windows 10 - Have you installed Logitech Gaming Software, and do you use it to help set up your wheel?

I'm asking because I've been using my G29 strictly with only in-game settings for all of my sims. (ie - I never installed any Logitech software other than whatever drivers get automatically installed when the gear is detected by Windows.) That works perfectly fine for me in most sims. But in some sims, there's a slight steering dead zone which I can't seem to get rid of.

Thoughts?

I've used it since day one but only to set the degrees of rotation when a certain game cannot do that for me automatically.

As far as trying to dial out deadzone, that can normally be handled via the particular in game ffb settings. For example, I use a minimum force setting of 15% in rF2 which removes the deadzone for me.

I've never used LGS to deal with that problem.

Running a 920 and I have always had the LGS installed but it seems pretty useless as it does not solve problems of ffb for me. The G29 may be a better choice than the 920.
