Mod, or not mod ? How to assign ?

Hi guys,

So, i got a weird question for you. It seems easy, but I couldn't find a solution in app or online ...
A bit of context : I got many mods in game, all installed through CM; cars and tracks.
Everything works great, and I'm pretty happy ! Recently, I tried Assetto Corsa Evoluzione, because it looks so much fun, the GT vibe and all that, and wanted something new out of AC.

But the thing is, I'd like to play only with Kunos cars, and none of the modded ones; there is an option in ACE to disable the modded cars, but apparently all my mods aren't ... mods ? Most of them disappeared, like 80-90% of modded cars aren't showing in ACE, but a few still are.

So, in my opinion, ACE is not the culprit here, it's the modded cars for some reason. I remember seeing a few times in CM, while installing new cars, a box allowing me to "install as a mod" ... So, there is a difference ? I looked back into CM, to see and change that "modded status" of the faulty car, but with no luck ...

So, can anybody help me ? That would be so nice !

"install as a mod"

... only means the car will be install into the folder "MODS", from where it can be enabled or disabled with either JSGME or the internal feature of Content Manager.

Just to clarify this bc concerning Assetto Corsa Evoluzione I cant help you. Never used it and never will.
