Terrific video! Thanks for the heads-up ... since then ...

you can add the real advertising and stflow mods into Assetto Corsa and the result is ...

I won't spoil the verdict if you haven't watched it!

Cheers,

Its fascinating how well AC with shaders mod and Sol run on my machine versus how bad the performance is with ACC on the same machine, even with everything turned down to minimum. I can make ACC look worse than Papy NASCAR Racing from the 90s and still only get a max of 30fps at Brands Hatch. I had no idea UE4 was so resource intensive.

Agree on performance in ACC my PC gets nice and warm, fans start kicking up and performance dives.
AC everything runs smooth, PC stays cool.
Good video but I disagree when he says at the end AC feels more fun to drive.
They are both great but on the CSL Elite Competizione feels better to me.
I'm getting way more feedback touching curbs and bumps it feels more in line with next gen ffb.
The biggest improvement between the two titles is the braking, ACC feels phenomenal on a load cell.

The guy is on DD wheel, that could explain as I like AC ffb better too.
BTW, Ilja hinted yestetday that new road shaders with reflections and puddles are coming with some sort of wet physics support.
Hydroplaning?
