Mods working but not.....confused.com

Morning folks, I'm new to PC gaming and have recently set up AC on a box fresh PC and I'm having heaps of fun. As a fan of the BTCC I have downloaded the tracks I would like to have fun at and the BTCC 2018 skin pack all from RD and all with lots of happy people and great reviews.

Trackwise I have extracted all of them and popped them all into the correct folder and some appear but a few of them do not. The ones that do not appear are
Donnington https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/donington-park.3031/
and
Croft https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/croft-circuit.16806/
They were all RAR files the same as the others that do appear so I'm a little confused.
Is Oulton Park in there somewhere as well, I can't seem to find it.

Carwise I extracted the BTCC 2018 skin pack https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/btcc-2018-skin-pack.20495/ and dropped it into the cars folder but nothing appears other than a Jpeg type logo in the choose car section which when moused over just says "Unknown" and then when clicked on nothing appears. Again I'm a little confused.

I guess I've missed something somewhere and could do with a steer from someone who knows.
Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure what's happened with the tracks, as they're a simple drop into the track folder but the skin pack has cars and texture folders that need to be dropped into the AC content directory.

You haven't dropped them into the Assetto Corsa folder in 'documents' have you?
Mod Edit:
Linking to outside sites is against our ToS.
The author is more than welcome to upload the track here on RD.

This is only a Skin Pack .... so, if you haven't first the mod installed ... it will never work of course.
There is a readme in this skin pack telling you what mod and cars are needed.
Have a look at it.

With the skin pack and no car ... it's like a wardrobe without a human body to wear the clothes. ;)

Regarding the tracks, I have used Donington myself and it works fine.
If you're truly certain that you got the right folder for it, then maybe the unpacking was botched by the archive software you used. I personally use 7-Zip, and I have heard of problems with WinRAR on several occasions.

Install Content Manager as your launcher then it's a simple case of dragging the zip file into Content Manager and it'll put everything in the right place. Couldn't be simpler. Works with tracks, cars, skins (if the right car is the active one) and a whole bunch of other types of mods (apps, weather mods etc). No fuss.

Plus: Content Manager is awesome for a million other reasons too. Night mod, real mirrors for example.

Maybe you should not be so sure you put the tracks in the correct folder, seeing as they would work if you did. Or maybe there is an extra folder between tracks and the track folder, that alone is enough to make it not work.

BTCC skinpack is exactly that: a pack of skins. Skins don't work without the car.
