Have you replaced all the other versions of the helmet youre trying to copy over as your base . Most livery files ( which is where the customisation helmets etc are situated ) have 3 files you need to edit ( for example epic02 is also accompanied by epic02_gloves and epic02_helmet ) . If you were , for example , replacing the helmet in that file you'd also need to replace it in the other 2 otherwise you get blurriness and that is , I guess , your problem with your mod .
