Good afternoon guys.
I finally was able to put my hands on a 4 set actuator kit and i am
basically trying to decide if i should build a 4 AXIS 3DOF (standard) or a 4AXIS 4DOF where the 4th axis would be used to add a new DOF (TL) implemented with a single push/pull actuator using this
So the question i want to reply is:
Are there any PRO/CONS of using just 3axis platform over a 4axis one considering they are both 3DOF (Roll+pitch+heave)? [Correct me if im wrong on this one]
The idea is to save a controller/motor pair to add another Dof (Yaw)
Something like this but with Traction Loss under it:
Thanks for the help
