Would anyone care to offer their advice on getting the best experience out of the next level Motion Sim?
My best experiences so far have been ...
Dirt Rally in VR in the Mini on a dirt track, with Surge tweaked up to 2.0 / bias 40% to get braking effect. (Sway effect is missing in Non-VR mode)
Assetto Corsa in VR in the 69 Lotus at Monza, with Heave tweaked up to 1.8 (to highlight the small surface bumps) other effects down a tad.
I tried PCars with the Lotus at Monza (to compare to Assetto), but had very few road surface bumps even after tweaking up the Heave. I read somewhere that Assetto laser scanned the tracks to get more surface detail. This could explain why PCars seems a bit flat on the motion platform. PCars2 looks like it has more surface detail. We will have to wait and see.
