Porsche 911 GT2 RS (991.2) - GT2 RS mod for Asee

This my take on the GT2 RS. Unfortunately this car doesn't come stock in AC so I decided to give it a go.
The original mod this is based on was made by Markos Kass (all the 3d models, sounds and descriptions are from him).
I changed the whole driving physics to make it more true to its real world counterpart which results in pretty damn accurate lap times..

I hope you all enjoy this as much as I do :)

so Markos Kass works for Turn 10? This is a Forza model with your typical unchanged textures and names (nodamage_lod0.dds....)

...and the info text is 1:1 an article off Motortrend. Just shows that if one is unwilling to invest time with the model itself, one may be lazy on other ends as well...

I just wanted to give him credit since I can't keep track of what he did and didn't do...
My goal was to make a realistic GT2 RS so even if all he did was import that model into AC he helped me out a lot :)

Not even a single screenshot? Also do you have permission from the original creator?
This my first ever post here :D I don't know the procedure with screenshots and all that.
I don't have his permission .. to be honest I wouldn't even know how to contact him.. Hopefully he likes the changes I made in case he gives it a try.

I didn't rip anything from Forza or elsewhere .. I got the original mod from here and I have no info on where he got his files from or whether he built them himself..
Doesn't matter if you ripped it or of anyone else did it, the original model is from another game and converted without permission, this is not allowed on this website.

Ok if you dont want it because the graphics are ripped from some other game tell me how to delete the post and ill do it ..
To be honest I think this is just a GT3 RS with a different bumper it looks exactly like it ..

You could report it yourself.
And this is not to prevent new guys from releadibg their work or anything, it's simply that the original owners of the model files could sue this website for hosting them. And a small Dutch hosted site does not want to go up against Microsoft's lawyers :whistling:

Releasing just your physics on their own should be fine tho

Ok just to calm you all down .. i converted both the forza gt2 model (which you can download) and the one i have and opened them im max .. they are not the same. The one i have is the gt3 rs from kunos with a custom front and rear bumper and different alloys .. even the spoiler is the same as on the gt3 .. the forza model looks way better than this.
But i might actually offer the data files so you can turn the stock gt3 into this without the drama

Just downloaded it. Well. I have two MR versions of the 991 GT2RS in AC and also another 2018 version.
I've been fiddling with their tyres/physics a lot to get them to my likings....

This new one goes into severe and I mean severe understeer when applying full throttle in 2nd and 3rd.
That's a pity. It should go into oversteer. But it almost doesn't. At all.
It's not a 991/992 Turbo AWD but it feels like one.

It feels on rails and way too planted and not tailhappy at all at 40kmh WOT in 2nd gear with all nannies off....

Sorry but deleting this one.

Cheers
Robin
