I posted this elsewhere (first impressions thread) but received no response because of all the other discussions going on, so I'll ask here by starting my own thread...
I seem to be the only one who feels the sound level on the in cockpit is waaay too low... and I tried everything to get it to be louder (sound settings, onboard vs. Audio card, headphones, etc., etc.). So then I installed Letasoft Sound Booster just so I could get the volume up to where I like it, but now then the crowd sounds are way too high. I had already noticed before doing that crowd noise is waaay too loud, and no way can a driver hear the crowd that much when he's in the cockpit. But now with the volume up louder with the sound booster, the crwod noise is ridiculously loud. Anyone know how I can turn down the just crowd volume, like maybe in a separate settings file somewhere? Or does anyone have any suggestions on how else to address this low volume of the engine sound?
