RX Vega 64, worth it?

First off, I'm not overly tech savvy so any help would be appreciated.

Newegg has a black Friday deal on an Rx vega 64. Wondering if it would be worth picking up or if I should wait till boxing day to see if there are any deals on an RTX 2070?

Keep in mind, I live in Canada so we don't get the $299 deals like in the States. Generally our prices are at least 25% more than the US.

MMM.... I think with that price, you can go for a gtx1080/gtx1080ti, espeically in this moment with black friday!!

1080 TI's are stupid expensive here. There is nothing I have seen that have been below the $900 mark...

ah ok, I agree with you, I live in Italy and during this week I found many offers especially on gtx1080/gtx1080ti.. In Canada prices are very high haha.
BTW: With that price, the Vega 64 it's a very good deal, idk it depends also on your budget, probably 2070 or every rtx prices won't came down in the next few months! It's up to you
