Hello everyone. I'm sure what I'm asking is rather niche, given this is about a PS2-era motorcycle controller, but I'm unsure where else I can ask this. I recently picked up one of these MS-1 controllers and a Brook device to it can be used on PlayStation consoles, as well as PC. Notably, for PC, it supports DirectInput, something most games have stopped supporting and instead use XInput. One of my present obstacles with this change is that I have zero vibration function with the controller: it has some, the manual makes it absolutely clear it does, but no program I've found has been able to force it on and fill in the rumble function that way.
That issue is the primary reason I've made this thread. I was curious if anybody has used this controller on PC complete with the vibration support, and if so, what did you do to enable it. The analog inputs work and function as I'd expect in games like Ride 4, but I was hoping to find a way to force the controller's rumble function into the game like a regular gamepad vibration. Any help here would be appreciated.
