stuttering and framedrops after a few minutes of play :(

i just reinstalled AC after a while off... but i get severe stuttering and framedrops after a few minutes.
it starts off great, 60fps and smooth... then a few stutters, then frames dropp to 30-40, but it feels like 5-10 frames, now i have to restart the game, but it all starts over again.
i can only do a quarter to a half lap on nordschleife before it becomes unplayable :(

i tried turning off v sync and limiting fps to 60 using nvida profile inspector...
i also tried setting maximum frame latency to 1 in graphics.ini... but no.
i also have the same problem on another game, city car driving...

what could be causing this? it used to work fine :(

Nurburgring gives me exactly the same symptoms, but i know how to correct the
problem.
Therefore .....
It would help if you give a quick run down on your PC specifications including
Steering wheel and pedals and the App’s that you have running.

Initially it would seem you may have cpu or gpu exessive heat build up from
reading you fault description. So having an app that monitors you cpu and gpu
temps may help.

Nurburgring is the most demanding circuit of all assetto corsa tracks.

There are far more knowledgeable people than me, they will help you sort it. But they
will need some more information ( maybe ).:)

Temperature. Clean CPU and GPU radiators and monitor temperature.
I had this issue recently when I accidentally unchecked Auto fan control in MSI Afterburner.

ouch... i did half a lap on nurburg and my cpu got to 98c, i thought i had fixed that
about a year ago i had graphical errors and shutdowns, i went to clean the fan and heatsink and the damn thing fell off when i touched it... thermal paste was completely dry.
i also broke two of the thingy's that hold it to the motherboard putting it back on.
i guess it came loose again...
im actually going to google ductaping a prossesor to a motherboard now...

anyways... thanks for the advice
