to add another point. The devs have to make the call sometime to say ok this is it the fundamental physics of the game are where they should be so now lets move onto other stuff. This also allows drivers to really dial in setups without fear of changes. Im sure they will finish up the other cars, I would argue that vintage cars having the less detailed tires is realistic as those tires would be hard and similar to street tires but they have done such a great job that im sure they will make the right calls. Balancing is something that can always be better but it really seems that the AMG has picked up a few kph so anything that makes for more exciting realistic racing is always welcome. Great job.
After over 2 yrs of development, I too whish that we had hit this point in the tire development....the updates have definitely improved the driving experience.
Reading on the Reiza forms they stated that the stiffer carcass was just the first phase and that they would go back and fine tune/update each vehicle.
Also many are complaining that a few cars have taken a step backwards and are lacking grip (ex. Porsche Cup) or are much faster than there RL counterparts.
And I'm sure a few cars will get additional tire compounds as well.

It is strange how it seems to work for some cars and not as well with others. This is just a theory but it seems to match up. Cars that have higher native rotation seem to be having the issues. An example would be the GT3 Porsche. It is a car with a smaller wheel base and higher native rotation and the stiffer tires seem to scrub as it rotates. This is the hard thing I imagine with the tires is that they effect so many other elements. These tires work so well for the AMG and so many other cars. I guess it will have to be an individual custom thing. But changing elements of these cars rotation my also be an option. Just sort of spit balling. Good luck.
