Total loss of audio on many Kunos cars

I've totally lost all audio for many Kunos cars, possibly due to some rogue car mod I installed at some point, but possibly not. Even after validating the integrity of game files a couple of times the cars remain silent. Any ideas for a solution please?

Interesting, thanks! How would that help though? If I'm just removing the contents of a car folder, how can that affect things in a different car folder?

if still not working:
if there is a "\sfx\guids.txt", try to rename it to smthng else, if its still not working, restore original name "guids.txt"

My guess is you probably installed a fonsecker sound pack or similar which adds a GUIDS file to all the sound files and then you might have done an integrity check which replaces the aftermarket sounds with the stock ones. The stock sounds aren't compatible with that GUIDS file so you have to remove or rename it.
