Triple screen, angle issues/projection in corners.

Hi,
Just set up triple monitors and started to play f1 2019,
As you can see, All the monitors don't line up, for instance follow the barriers, and road lines, where it meets the left and right monitor it goes off at a crazy angle.

But when viewing YouTube (
) in that video they are perfect.

What am I missing?

Thanks

Hi, aside from the Nvidia Surround setup how do you have the screens setup physically?

From your photo it looks like the side monitors are set too tight an angle to me and that is what is causing the distortion.

Each screen centre point should be exact same distance from your head position, this dictates the angle you need to set them to your seating position. i.e. as you look at each screen centre it should be perpendicular to your viewing position as well as equal distance.

If you haven't worked it out, this calculator may help tell you the angle: http://www.edracing.com/edr/FOV.php

Also do you have the bezels overlapping of butted? Overlapping is best to minimise the thickness, but then you do have to accept some distortion of the image.

I dont know about F1 games`but when I set up my tripples for Asseto Corsa i had the same distortions.

The solution was to put the vertical middle of the screens in eye height.

The rest could be adjusted in the tripple screen app in AC.

It`s also OK in ACC and Race Room.

MFG Carsten
