Hello RD!
I started my AC journey a week and a half ago and since then I've been relentlessly attacking the IDAS8 Akina in my Swift Sport
I know, it sucks as a car on circuit, but its perfect for downhills.
The maximum I have gone is 5:10 on Akina with the sport, and I wanted to tune the car more.
The first thing I did was to change the gear ratios with that from Monster Sport: https://www.monster-sport.com/e/parts/powertrain/closegear/
and the ratios look like this:
GEAR_R=-3.250
GEAR_1=2.588
GEAR_2=1.904
GEAR_3=1.407
GEAR_4=1.064
GEAR_5=0.885
FINAL=5.176
After this, I decided to reduce weight, but my questions are:
Will just reducing TOTALMASS do the trick, or will INERTIA have to be decreased as well? If yes, then in what ratio?
Will this affect suspension settings?
