Two Basic LA Canyons 1.2 Questions

I enjoy driving with 2-way traffic and have finally worked out the hanging-on-exit problem. However:

1. How do you control where on-track you start your drive? I'm using "Race Weekend" which puts me in the same starting location every time. I'd like some variety! For example, what's the setting to start in the La Canada neighborhood?

2. What do I need my settings to be in order to see some snow on the ground on the sides of the road? I've seen Youtube vids with snow, but have not encountered it yet myself.

If the track is on the northern emisphere and the date is today, or any winter date, you should have snow on the sides, I think.
There is a check box at CSP options to avoid it, I think it's on the Weather FX page. It saids something like "seasonal weather"

Ah, now I understand your point. (BTW - I don't see how it's "spamming" since I'm not trying to sell anything.)

So, the way I understand it, according to your rules of internet etiquette, rather than keeping it focused and simple by asking my questions here, I should now re-post my questions into a 2nd thread that's already 2000+ posts long, where they will likely never be seen at all.
