UNFINISHED TRACK-MODS THAT DESERVE A FINAL VERSION [DISCUSSION]

Since i started playing Assetto Corsa and downloading mods for it, i discovered TONS of maps, left in early alfa, or beta-stadium, but never have been finished.
Some of them haven't been worked on for more than 5 years.

That's why i want to start a discussion, with the goal to find out, what are YOUR favorite unfinished/low quality maps, that in your opinion deserve a final touch?

So please LIST all maps, you believe, that have great potential, but never have been completed...if possible with the correct filename, links AND the issues, you discovered on those maps, that need to been worked on.

-mapname
-what kind/type of track (street, freeroam, racetrack, touge, oval, etc)
-filename
-link, if possible
-PRO, why you like this map, what is great about it

-CONTRA, what are the issues, bugs, what is missing, etc

Second, i want to know if there are any skilled map-modders out there, willing to work over those abandoned maps...maybe you discover some in the suggestions, you want to work on.

Most of Gilles tracks

But for me, the one I wish that had special treatment would be the Prince George Circuit.

For such an important track in the history of motorsport, especially for South Africa, it's a shame that the track has such a precarious conversion.

Even having this dubious quality, what I still like about the Gilles version is its vintage vibe (something from the 60s), which represented the heyday of the track, with the F1 races that took place there. No other converted version for AC of this circuit has this detail.

Just add some grass fx, improve some of the graphics details and fix the color of the asphalt, and the track is going to be 100% better!!!

Tripoli that can be found at the GTplanet AC forum, guess non-RD links can not be posted. Let me know if wanting to have this track!
I love Brno1965 too, btw...i drove it endless in gtr2

Justnow, after you mentioned it, i looked after the Tripoli-map and found a link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ctqd1Yifg20_x_sqSp60YovDLZFqPs19/view

...that DEFINITIVE is a hell of a FAST track...70'sMonza would get jeallous, but i agree it needs some update, like you said

Although i'm totally into historic races, i never heard about the "Prince George Circuit"...and i agree, it looks VERY outdated and REALLY deserves a refreshening!!!

Does ANYONE know some track-modder, who would like to work on it?

Maybe u heard about East London? Both are the same ;)
No...havent heard about it...or are you talking about the "Christal Palace" -Track??? Have you got a link?

PS: What we REALLY need, are some people willing to work on those tracks...i would do myself, but i've got ZERO experience with map-building (with exception of the FARCRY2-mapeditor...there i made many very cool and high-class maps...but non with professional programs)

You could always learn how to build tracks, especially if those old track are important to you.

Here's a good starting point:

You know... i watched the video twice now...and the laser scan stuff is really interesting, but i don't understand most of the technical terms and functions of those apps he uses, i'm not an english native and the whole thing seems to be WAY TO COMPLEX for me...
HUGE respect to the people, who build tracks with those programs, but i won't join them so soon xD...
