What gearbox does the Formula Trainer have?

In the menu formula trainer described as a H pattern 4 shifter. When i use my H pattern shifter in the game without the clutch the gears change normal. Is it a SQ shifter?

It’s based on a Formula Ford and they have a 4-speed H-pattern shifter. However it seems to be a sequential in the game.

Not sure if it’s an error or by design.

I also wonder what the differential is supposed to be for this car. It’s just weird that it’s completely grayed out with all the individual items blank. I thought maybe it’s supposed to be a spool for simplicity but the V8SC has the diff settings present with “Spool On” set. It makes me wonder if maybe the trainer is supposed to be a standard clutch-based LSD but with no user adjustability and they just haven’t added how that will be displayed in the game yet.
