What to back up if I have to install my rfactor2 on a new pc ?

May you please help me about installing my rfactor2 customizable content on a new pc?
In other words,in the new pc i will download rfactor2 (from steam).
But which are the folders/files to have the same settings in the new pc? I mean: settings (profile, controls mapping) but also the car setups i defined and everything i created/modified, and anything else I should remember to copy to the new install ...

In other words, how to "clone" my customized rfactor2 on my new pc

one thing is not clear: if I want to install my RFACTOR2 on a new pc:
- I start Steam and "install" rfactor2 -> that automatically install all DLCs
- but it's not clear to me if it installs automatically also all the mods I subscribed in the Workshop or not ... may you please tell me about those mods ?

Of course it does :) What you are subscribed to is based on your Steam profile, not you specific rFactor 2-install :)

With that being said. If you copy whatever games you don't want to re-download on steam, from Steam\steamapps\common. So let's say you don't want to re-download rFactor 2. You copy the folder called rFactor 2 (Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2) to an external drive or something. Install Steam on a new PC. Shut down Steam, and paste in whatever folders you backed up. Fire up Steam again, and Steam will find the installs without issues.

This also works if you have a new PC, but also transfer some older drives (HDD's, SSD's M2's etc.).
Like me on my newest PC, I bought only one SSD with it, and just moved all my old ones to the new PC. What I did then was to install Steam on my new PC, but the folder I installed it in, was the same as the old one (so I basically installed Steam to the folder I had Steam on in my old PC). I also pointed the extra game-folders to the same folders. Re-started Steam and Steam found all my previous installs without any problems. It may download 1 or 2 files for the games, but that's it.

With the internet-speed I have, this isn't a must-do situation, but I do have a bit over 100 games installed, and it's boring to DL all them again when I can skip it :)
