Whats Your Favorite Christmas Combo?

Combo 2.jpg

Here's something we can all get involved with, whether you race Forza on a console with a controller or Iracing on a PC and full racing rig!

With Christmas fast approaching i'm sure a lot of folks are all wrapped in worrying about the presents, the turkey, accommodating the family when they come over and stocking up on all the supplies for the big day. So there's probably much less time for simracing in general.

However, it can be a stressful time of year with all of this going on and at some point when there's just too much to think about you need a quick break to just escape from it all and have some time to yourself to just relax and have a little fun!

So if you get an hour free to yourself when you know you're not going to be bothered by the phone going off, the doorbell ringing for an amazon present delivery, or maybe you've been really organised, got everything meticulously planned, already done your Christmas shopping over the last quarter of the year, ordered the turkey and just feel like giving yourself a pat on the back and a treat to an hour in your favourite racing simulator... Which car and track are you going to choose?

Are you going to choose your favourite car and track to hotlap for an hour and just enjoy the driving physics, or maybe it's a rally stage with your favourite 4WD and you want to see if you can beat your best time.

It could be a car class and track where the A.I. work particularly well, so you set up a race there for an hour with pit stops and changing weather.

Possibly, you just want to spend the time with your most raced car and track perfecting your setup for your next year's online races?

Have you found a certain combination that wouldn't usually be seen in the real world but for some reason is the most fun you've ever had? Like trying to navigate a tarmac rally stage in an F1 car!

You could be someone who likes to not worry about it all until the last week, and blitz everything in just a few hectic days. Then save yourself an hour on Christams Eve to just sit down, relax and cruise around a big open map in VR, just enjoying the sights, and the sound of the engine coming from your favourite supercar!

Or, it could even be setting up an online session with you're favorite vehicle in Wreckfest on a track that you know will guarantee absolute carnage, and you just want to invite some friends in and laugh your socks off for an hour!

Whatever it is, let us know in the comments what your combo of choice is, how you discoverd it, what sim and or mods you were using, why it suits you, or gives you so much fun, and maybe even the type of driver or scenario you'd recommend it for.

To start us off, here's a combo I found just recently in Automobilista 2 which I will be using alot in my future online servers, because it's just so much fun!

It was one night after a long server session, there were just a few of us left in the lobby chatting. Just before I decided to shut down for the night I had a crazy idea about trying out an unusual combo using one of the tracks we'd raced on that night, but with a vehicle you wouldn't usually find on it. So I asked the remaining two people if they'd like to give a quick try with me before we put our heads down for the night, they were happy to indulge me, so we fired it up!

We ended up having the best time, I was grinning from ear to ear all the way through!

Car: 250cc Super Kart
Track: California Highway Reverse (new track mod just released for AMS2)
Launching your kart off a high spped bump at full chat is hilarious! Perhaps best to slow a bit before the bumps as losing your rear spoiler will actually slow you down in the straights.
Who knew?

Actually treated myself you a months iracing sub for Crimbo, gotta say (even though its an old engine), I really love the graphics style in this sim, very crisp lines, similar to RF2!
