which Android Hud?

Ok, I want to use an android phone as a hud, now there's SIM Dashboard, Dashpanel, and RS Dash to name a few, they all charge to use fully unlocked for each sim, and I was just wondering which is the best 'bang for the buck' , which do you think is the best option ? :O_o:

I took a good look at this, but tbh it's a convoluted nightmare, register this/ that buy licences etc. Now to test it I downloaded the 'free' older sli emu, installed it on my phone, downloaded sli max pro and installed it on my pc, ran the app on my phone, then started sli manager on my pc and...nothing found, and it shut down. Do i have to donate $5 and register sli manager anyway? for it to work, because it's not very free is it, especially if you can't test it first and then find out it's not working. I dunno, I like the idea and it looks good, but @ least I know Dashpanel works BEFORE I shell out any cash.

That's a shame that you've had such a bad experience.. I found it easy to get going.. but I did pay the $5..

Dash panel is really good too.. basic and does the Job.. You just need to buy multiple copies for different games..

Good luck in your search!

I've used most of them and the one I've stuck with for quite some time now is SIM Dashboard. Easy to customize, it automatically switches between sims and just plain works. I bought a cheap 7" tablet that I have mounted on my CSW and it is only used for SIM Dashboard. I do wish you could switch screens via an assigned button but a quick swipe has been working fine.

I agree with you in regards to ekSimRacing. I bought that to and though flexible, I found it to be rather complicated. Also, if you happen to change or add a device, you have to buy another license for it... or something like that. It's been awhile.

Agree 100%. Pretty intuitive to set up, plenty of design options and is pretty feature rich. Covers all the main sims, detects them at launch and the application is updated regularly. I set up a few custom templates for each sim when I first bought it and I've not touched them since. Never had an issue in-game. Developer is also receptive of ideas and suggestions.

Another vote for Sim Dashboard. I haven't been using it for a while because my wifi router didn't like it for some reason, but I've recently got back to it and liked how it changed in the meantime (and they've also added a USB mode which should solve my router issues). I've made a thread about it in the Raceroom section a while back and shared some dashboards, with others joining in, so you can find it there if interested.
