Though it was quite popular with families due to its well used space for a while, the FIAT Multipla surely is one of the ugliest cars on earth. This four-eyed monstrosity on wheels earns headshaking wherever it drives. Italian graphic designer whega made a GT3 version of it by putting the GT3 kit of a Lambo on the Multiplas body. What looks admittedly a bit impressive still cannot hide the fact that the Multipla looks like a gondola that has fallen on a fat version of the VW Scirocco. 
Sim racing star Jimmy Broadbent discovered the mod and publicly gave it a try on YouTube. Even though he seems to have a lot of fun in the video, he still makes clear that he might want to wash himself afterwards. He even dubs the Multipla GT3 the "most cursed car in sim racing". So it will most likely forever be the car that we all love to giggle and rant about, but it would be missed if it didn't exist. 
The announcement article of our next mod treasure alone is pure internet gold, full of self-irony: "In early February the CEO of Wonkersports, Wonker, looked at a Tecpro barrier and thought to himself: 'Can I put a trained monkey into the seat and make it drive?' Two months later the realisation of his dream is finally upon us with this technological masterpiece." The masterpiece refers to the name Formula Wonk LRS-1. It looks like a toycar attached to two olympic torches and true ragtop feeling. The giant heckspoiler should create a downforce that may push the earth out of orbit... 
... or rather let the Wonk take off. But the creators assure: "This car is of course, as is true to any Wonkersports creation, VERY driveable and does not wheelie like Dom's Charger off the line at all, we promise!" Everyone who does not know the reference should have a look at the original Fast and the Furious motion picture. 
If this Ford modification had already existed in the 1930s, Ford would have won the 24 Hours of Le Mans far more often, that is for sure. With this charming warning sign on its back, no one would dare to overtake. 
Our next car is not very ugly or spectacular. Instead, the Toyota Corolla Trueno AE86 is the epitome of casual. Nevertheless it became quite famous for a certain generation of anime fans, thanks to the anime/manga series "Initial D". The main character Takumi Fujiwara is a delivery boy who becomes a street racer in the seat of his Trueno AE86. What is really impressive about this picture, is that the user managed to replicate a certain situation in reality quite accurately. By using not only the car but also the track mod "LA canyons", he managed to visit the "Angeles Crest" both in reality and in-game. You really gotta love your hobby if you want to do it again in the digital world. 
The Suzuki Alto NA 660 is a niche car and has never been very pretty either. Its clumsy design reminds one of a breadbox. It is hilarious to see many of them racing it out in their default setup. No modified body, no tuned specs. Away from its boring look, especially for beginners the car might be a good choice to drive. As it is very slow and ponderous, driving the Suzuki Alto is a down-to-earth experience. It forces you to focus on the basics of racing to get the maximum out of it. So once you have stopped laughing, this mod might be worth a try. 
Some people just seem to love their work. Nothing else can explain why someone would rebuild the Toyota Tonero HST25 in Assetto Corsa. However, be assured that there are few more hilarious things than watching a forklifter speeding up with more than 500 hp above its usual limit. Imagine a series where the opponents lift each other up. That might make being first a much scarier situation than it is anyway. 
If the Mercedes A-Class from 2000 and a current Formula 1 car made a child, this mod was the result. Despite being maybe the only car of Mercedes one would really put into the small car section, this mod has made it a beast. This car achieved what the Multipla couldn't. With its giant wheelcases and F1 slicks, accompanied by the huge spoiler this car overshines its generous default version. The F1 version of this mod really feels like an F1 car. Which is quite surreal while sitting in a car of this shape. 
If you have a look at this picture, you are not surprised that it is the last on this list, right? Just kidding, but the DHL Ford Transit is another car which makes you wonder who really needs this. A destruction derby with many of this yellow workerbees might turn out fun. Too bad this has not been included in the mod. But what is not right now, can be in the future. This slideshow should have proven that there are nearly no boundaries to creativity in Assetto Corsa. These Assetto Corsa cars look like accidents. Horrible, but fascinating to look at.
