The McLaren 720S Coupé is one of the most modern cars on the list, being produced in 2018. It packs an astonishing 720 PS and puts approximately 1,340kg on the scale. Due to the use of carbon fiber the vehicle is faster and lighter than its predecessor, the 650S Coupé. 
The Maserati MC12 marked Maserati’s return to racing after 37 years. The vehicle was based on the Enzo Ferrari but is much larger and slightly slower. In 2005, the vehicle took the second place in the FIA Team Cup, while its constructors won the Manufacturers cup. Sadly, it was too wide to drive in the American Le Mans Series and was only allowed to race as a guest without any points to earn. 
Produced in 1997, the McLaren F1 GT is a more aerodynamic and racing-optimised version of the standard F1. Only three vehicles of the GT variant got produced to compete at Le Mans and managed to secure second and third place in 1997. 
The Porsche 906 was the last racing car produced by Porsche that was allowed to drive on regular streets. It won various races such as the 24 hours of Daytona, 12 hours of Sebring and Targa Florio. 
The Shelby is another unique car. It was built by Carroll Shelby in 1963 to race in the United States Road Racing Championship (USRRC) and was one of the best performing vehicles. With 400 horsepower and a weight of only 590kg it flew over the racetracks. 
With 375 horsepower the Chevrolet Nova Super Sport 396 is another really impressing vehicle in Forza Horizon 4. It has a speed rating of 6.2. It was built in 1969 by Chevrolet with 6. liters V8 engine. It weighs as much as 1,574kg. 
In Forza Horizon 4 the Aventador is the fastest car available. With a maximum speed of 373 km/h (231 mph) and a V12 powered all-wheel drive, the Aventador can win you any race. Its powerful engine allows the vehicle to speed up from 0 to 100 km/h (60 mph) in just 2.8 seconds. 
With a speed rating slightly lower than the Dunkervoort D8 GTO, the Holden Torana A9X is still a fast vehicle with 5.8. It weighs a lot more with 1,143kg and packs a naturally aspirated V8. 
The Donkervoort D8 GTO is not only one of the fastest cars with a maximum speed of 260 kmh (160 mph), but also one of the few vehicles with an open top. It comes with a turbo five-cylinder from an Audi TT RS and weighs 695kg. It has a speed rating of 6.9. There are many different vehicles and drag cars in Forza Horizon 4.
