Italian racing game developer Milestone released their newest title MotoGP 21 this Thursday, 22 April. The game portrays the 2021 season of the annual motorsports MotoGP World Championship that features the best motorbike racers across the globe. Apart from the highest division MotoGP, the sub-classes Moto2 and Moto3 are also playable in the game. We collected the fastest bikes from each class, which boast a performance rating of 100% in MotoGP 21.
MotoGP: Suzuki GSX-RR
- Team: Team Suzuki Ecstar
- Drivers: Joan Mir & Alex Rins
Step aside for the wildest beast on the track: the Suzuki GSX-RR! With a force of 240 horsepower, this machine can reach a top speed of over 211 mph (340 km/h). The result of this raw speed are two World Championship titles in 2020. Suzuki won both the team championship and the MotoGP trophy itself with rising star driver Joan Mir. The 23-year-old Spaniard became the first Suzuki rider to win the title in 20 years. His teammate, fellow Spaniard Álex Rins, finished the season on third place with the same bike.
Moto2: Kalex engineering Moto 2
- Team: SKY Racing Team VR46
- Drivers: Marco Bezzecchi & Celestino Vietti
For those who want drive some fast laps in the second division, you can opt for the Kalex engineering Moto 2 model. As manufacturer KTM withdrew from Moto2 in 2019, several teams had to search for an alternative and chose German manufacturer Kalex as a replacement. Most participants use their machines, which is also why in 2016 and 2020 every single race was won by a Kalex driver. In 2015, they almost repeated this feat, but eventually fell short in one single race.
Moto3: Honda NSF250RW
- Team: Leopard Racing
- Drivers: Dennis Foggia & Xavier Artigas
Moto3 is a class for young talents to prove their abilities and get scouted to be promoted to a higher division. If you want to be successful in this class, go for a test drive with the Honda NSF250RW. The machine sports a top speed of 155 mph (250km/h).
This Japanese bike claimed five titles in the constructor’s championship and carried five riders to first place in the Moto3 category. One of them is reigning MotoGP champion Joan Mir who snatched the crown in 2017. In the current season, Italian Dennis Foggia and Spaniard Xavier Artigas are competing with this model – 17-year-old Artigas even finished the fastest lap in Qatar.
Moto3: KTM RC 250 GP
- Team: Red Bull KTM Ajo
- Drivers: Jaume Masiá & Pedro Acosta
The second Moto3 bike with a performance of 100% in the game is the KTM RC 250 GP by Austrian manufacturer KTM. This model almost reaches the same top speed as its competitor, the Honda NSF250RW mentioned above. It also boasts a similarly impressive track record: four riders took the trophy and the bike itself won the constructor’s championship four times. The 2013 season was one for the books, as every single one of the 17 races went to a rider with a KTM bike.
