A vast number of sim racing games on the market include a rally feature for the player to enjoy racing on uneven terrain and under challenging circumstances. We took a good look at the games available up until now and selected the top seven ones that are definitely worth a shot.
DiRT 4
DiRT 4 was launched by Codemasters in 2017. Unlike the series DiRT Rally, this spin-off is intended to appeal to a more casual audience and therefore includes features of an arcade game. For example, DiRT 4 introduced a ‘Gamer-Mode’ with simpler controls for a less serious and overall easier gameplay experience. The ‘Sim-Mode’ on the other hand allowed a more realistic and therefore serious approach to the game, which is playable on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. A fifth edition of the series will be released on November 6, 2020.
DiRT Rally 2.0
The newest addition to the racing simulation series DiRT Rally was launched in 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and provides players with finest sim racing content. It was launched in 2019 and seamlessly continues the line of realistic racing simulations. Newest additions include locations and vehicles, an overall improved racing experience and an online mode that allows to take on AI and community challenges and, on the highest scale, to participate in rallycross championships.
World Rally Championship 9
