Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City is a work of fantasy and imagination. This extends to the cars as well, all of which are as fictional as the location. That is, apart from one. The legendary Porsche 911 Turbo is the only real-world model that players can drive around the streets of Night City. It’s not easy to find though, so here’s a small guide in case you need a little help.

First things first you’ll need to spend a fair amount of time advancing the main storyline. In fact, the opportunity to experience the Porsche 911 arises around halfway through the game. At this point a side quest entitled “Chippin’ In” will become available for the player to pursue. Be careful, as if you miss this you will not be able to access the 911 at all.

The side mission itself begins with the player meeting with Rogue, a notable character in the storyline, at her night club The Afterlife. In order to get the Porsche, you should play through the mission as you usually would until you find yourself presented with a choice between pulling a gun on somebody or not. If you don’t draw your weapon, your clemency will be rewarded and you will gain access to the Porsche 911 Turbo.

Speed and Style

As for why you should want the 911 for yourself, there are a whole host of reasons. The car is one of the highest performing vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077 and it’s a lot of fun to drive. The model exudes retro style, having originally hit the real-world roads in 1975. While it is widely known as the 911 Turbo, this particular model is technically called the Porsche 930. However, it is very similar indeed to the 911, with the biggest difference being its turbocharged engine, so the 911 Turbo moniker is certainly warranted.

Here are the stats to go along with the look, in case that’s what grabs your interest. The turbocharged flat-6 engine is capable of chucking out around three hundred horsepower. This power is channelled directly into the rear tires, as the car is rear-wheel drive. The gearbox is four-speed, and the whole car is a tight, compact package, weighing in at about fourteen hundred kilograms.

The in-game version carries a few adaptations to bring it up to spec for the Cyberpunk’s futuristic setting, including the ability to self-drive as well as an automatic transmission. Alongside these changes the 911 Turbo features a custom paintjob and a place of especial significance in the storyline, as it is the personal vehicle of Keanu Reeves’ character Johnny Silverhand, who plays a major role in the game’s narrative.
