Do you ever load up the F1 game, hop in one of the slower cars and find yourself winning by multiple laps? So you max out the AI difficulty then pick a team with one of the fastest cars, now you cannot even keep up with Goatifi. Though to be fair, who could?

Anyway, our point is, the AI difficulty level is always an inconvenience to deal with for all players. Unless they so happen to be esports-level quick, in which case 110 AI difficulty isn’t high enough. But for mere mortals, we’ve put together a quick and easy guide to help all of you F1 22 gamers get the difficulty you need.

The Age-Old AI Issue

Every year, there are the same observations made about the AI in the Formula One games. The fact that the perfect AI difficulty for one track won’t then be the best option for any other track.

We all thought those days were behind us when Codemasters and EA said they would be adding a feature called Adaptive AI. The idea being that the AI could learn your driving and adapt as you progressed. But, no.

As Jonas points out, this is only for the beginner level difficulty. So if you dream of playing the F1 game without brake and steering assist, kiss your hopes of Adaptive AI goodbye. A huge oversight on Codemasters and EA’s part, which could be corrected in the future. If that happens, we will update this article.

But for those in the present day, we are going to have to make do with what Jonas suggested.
