I have missed the July 14th event. Am I allowed to participate in the October event? It wouldn't hurt giving some points to help the club.

I think so.

I was kind of sad to find out iRacing had dropped it and it is now being run by volunteers. Still good stuff, but it looses its range that way.

yep, even if your team has already qualified (Brazil, De-At-Ch and 4 more) you can still run, in the next event it will be the six best of the not yet qualified teams who make it to the finals. Hopefully they pick a combo I own, I love the idea and would like to participate (though there will probably be enough aliens in my club partcipating to make me look all small and insignificant). Rooting for the Olympian spirit of participation!
