Ages to connect.

I started with iracing a couple of weeks ago and love it. Apart from the fact that as of a few days ago, Whenever I want to join a race, practice, view replays or anything really, the box comes up saying it's connecting but then stays there, sometimes for about 15 minutes before connecting me.
Anyone know what I can do to sort this.
I have a very good internet connection and a reasonably high standard pc.

this happened to me a while back, too, i missed three official games in a row which cost me loads of iR. Problem vanished as quickly as it had begun after me checking to see if hardware and software were fine, which they were. didn't play for two days and then it was gone. Never figured out what it was, though.
