New Beta drivers released, haven't tried but ...

20-30 is very nice. I have an 280x and a intel Xeon 1231V3 CPU.

What AA settings are you using?

Ok, as a followup to my previous post - the issue seems to be fixed when you switch the AA from MXAA to pretty much anything (I'm currently using DS2X and it works).

I have to take a look again but I am pretty sure I use "high". No other method. Also nothing in the drivers. With ~medium (some things high, some things turned off) settings I have about 60-80 FPS.

I got more fps with DSX2, but that might be exclusive to my card. Would still suggest to try it.

The improvements were for the r9 and r7 carsds, that is why.

I know but the release notes don't say anything about that card...

It is the same chip indeed, but the R9 280 is housing some new techniques. I think they are using a part of the Windows 10 driver to get it fixed, for the R7 and R9 cards, meaning this is most likely based on the DX 12 improvements, which is not supported by the 7950.
