Liam Inc. submitted a new resource:

Aurora AFX British Formula 1 Series 1979 - A skin pack for the GP79 mod which attempts to recreate the 1979 British Formula 1 Series.

Through 1978-1980 and 1982 a domestic series which fielding non-contemporary F1 cars was established for the UK, with races in Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Thruxton, Mallory Park, Snetterton, Donington Park, Outon Park, Zolder(?), Zandvoort(???), etc.

This mod attempts to recreate the 1979 series, with some of these cars and drivers being raced in the Race of Champions and Dino Ferrari Grand Prix.

It's not 100% accurate and sadly, doesn't include any helmets for the drivers or a track-pack...

Updated helmets for some of the drivers.

The drivers who are included in the GP79+80 mod now have correct helmets. Also, apparently you don't need to install that to play this so ignore that.View attachment 715486

The mod is a good begining, the cars is pleasant to drive and realistic. But he miss the livery or the many car and a setup is limited. If my old laptop find a new alim I can do some livery and helmet for exemple the Melchester Racing is simple with Désiré Wilson and the last american to have win a F1 race Gordon Smiley. For the track Zandvoort is a real race and the majority of the UK track. The series was folded when the sponsor AFX a Kenner Games division was closed after a scandal for the Barbarella movies with a pornographic games for kids. Kenner is in heavy financial struggle and merged in the late 90's after a last attept with the MASK TV series and other Action Man.

Removed music override.

The mod now doesn't contain it's own music in the menus, which some may find annoying.
